On 22nd Nov I when to London to The Cinema Store to see Mr. Lee.
It was a very wet day, I got there about half 12, and by that time there was already people waiting.
So I waited in the cue, that way I would be at the front. I was about 12th in line, we had a long wait as Mr. Lee was not due till 5.00, we got very wet and cold but it was worth it.
At a few mins after 5 a small car which looked like an MG pulled up, I thought that can't be Mr. Lee the car was too small, but Mr. Lee got out, (they must be bigger inside then I thought, what with Mr. Lee being so tall) He looked very smart and casual, and very realaxed. He went inside and got ready for us, after that they were letting people in five at a time. I was in the third group. It was a real shame though because I forgot my camera., luckily thoug, I got talking to a couple of guys in the que who I made friends with and they took a picture of me with Mr. Lee which they said they would e-mail to me.
When I got speaking to him I had forgotten everything I wanted to say, most of all I wanted to congratulate him on winning the life achievement award, but I forgot.
He signed my DVD for me and I gave him some cigars which I bought him in London. Mr. Lee really liked the cigars, he said they were his favourite and wished he could smoke them there and then, but was not allowed to smoke in the store.
We shook hands and thanked each other, and after I made my way home. It was a great day out and thought it was well worth the trip.
I'm thinking of going to the one in nottingham on the 30th this month. This time I might remember what I wanted to say!
