There are so many aspects to consider. I suppose generally that the '70s contain most of my favorites, though his early films are fascinating. It's a balance of opportunity/emotional flexibility/quality of performance: I like his newer roles, because you can see the maturity in his performance. He was a little tight in the earlier years (less emotionally flexible, not drunk [img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img]).
