Miker, thanks for the link. I shall cross my fingers and hope to see "The Devil Rides Out" come galloping back with Mr. Lee, of course.
As for "Curse Of The Demon", it is one of my favorite films. If one remains true to the story, I stick to my casting of Dr. Karswell. However, I agree that an interpretation of that character by Mr. Lee would be equally intriguing. In my opinion, remaking films of this quality does not necessarily demand an improvement over the original. Rather, it should strive to equal and celebrate the original. There are so many fine films that young people have never seen, and may never take the time to explore on their own. A fresh retelling of a worthy tale may give them the incentive to view the classic version, as well.
