An interesting footnote. I read a while back that the production company ran out of funds during post production. Watch the CGI effects and you'll see what I mean. CL's scenes seem to have been part of this "economizing". All in all, an interesting effort if not a great film. The premise behind the mummy in this one is a fresh angle tho. I have the US truncuated version altho it is 2.35:1 widescreen with 5.1 DD sound. Some sacrifices are worth making to avoid pan and scan or fullscreen to me. Besides, having seen the longer cut, I'm quite happy with the version I have. There is no additional CL scenes between the 2 versions.
